ACCA MA (FMA)
Management Accounting

The ACCA MA module will develop management accounting techniques to help you support businesses to plan, control and monitor performance. You will learn different ways of managing finance within an organisation with the aim of enhancing business performance. 

The Key Syllabus areas are:

•   The nature, source and purpose of management information
•   Data analysis and statistical techniques
•   Apply cost accounting techniques
•   Prepare budgets for planning and control
•   Compare actual costs with standard costs and analyse any variances
•   Apply performance measurements and monitor business performance.

The MA exam is a two-hour computer based assessment.  The pass mark is 50%.
